Our preschool

Telarah Public School Preschool is the Department of Educations 2 unit preschool which opened in October 1979. Up to 80 students can be enrolled with each student attending 5 days a fortnight. It is an important part of Telarah Public School which is one of 100 identified Preschool to Year 6 Public Schools in NSW. The school services a large and diverse community in a low socio-economic area and has a range of services to support the local community including the Preschool, support classes for students with emotional disturbances and an early intervention unit for students with disabilities of preschool age. In addition to the support classes there are over 480 students enrolled in mainstream programs from Kindergarten to Year 6. Of the total enrolment at the school 17% identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage.

The Preschool entry is on George Street, Telarah. Parking is available on this street.

Our operating hours are 9am to 3pm during school terms, so the same as any NSW DoE School.
