Canteen
All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.
Our canteen operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and is closed Wednesdays. It caters for the children's needs at lunch and recess times.
Our canteen is school operated, employing a supervisor and supporting volunteers. The canteen is always looking for volunteers from our school community. It is a fantastic way to ge to know the staff, students and other parents, as well as understand the rountines of the school.

No cash is accepted at the canteen - all orders are placed via Flexischools
Uniforms
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes.

We are proud to be Telarah Public School and all students are expected to wear the full school uniform at all times, in accordance with the school's uniform policy, developed and endorsed in collaboration with our school community. Suppor of parents is sought in this matter.
The wearing of the school uniform at Telarah Public School is seen as a valuable part of the development of the child as a proud, contributing member or our school family.
School hats are mandatory. Students are required to wear their hat to play in open sun areas during break times.
We have our own onsite uniform shop providing full summer and winter supplies.

Hiring our facilities
You may apply to use our school’s facilities for appropriate purposes provided your hiring of the facility doesn't interfere with our teaching and learning programs.
